How do I measure my surfboard for a cover?

Your board has three measurements: length, width, and thickness.

• Length: Nose to tail (e.g. 6’0”).
• Width: The widest point of the board (e.g. 21”).
• Thickness: The depth of the board (usually a fraction, like 3 4/6”).
  
  These measurements are normally found on the underside your surfboard and may look like this
  
  

To find the true width your board needs inside a cover:

Width + (Thickness ÷ 2)

Example:

21 1/2” wide + half of 2 3/4” = 22.875 inches effective width
This board would fit a fun style cover as it is too wide for a short board cover.
