I love my new Boardsox surf hat I’ve been wearing most days while on my trip to the Phillipines it drys quick, stays on even in bigger surf or jumping off boats and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with compliments on the flames! Would highly recommend boardsox surf hats

Perfect for day trips. Quality construction can tell I’m not going to need another boardbag for a long time. Also because of the design how the tail rolls up I can fit my 6’6 middy in the 6’0 bag and still clip it up which is unheard of in other bags. Stoked!!

Terrific coverage of face ears and neck on all sides.
The front rim is Gr8 to turn up when surfing to get a clearer view when paddling for waves and the return to normal for full face protection..
I don’t mind wearing it out of the water also because of the protection from sun it provides and will probably take it fishing next time.

This hat is great… for me!
Feels robust, lots of options to adjust and fits my ( adult) head.
But there isn’t enough adjustability to cater to my 9 and 12 year old heads. Just needs the clasp of the chin strap to sit shorter and the Velcro tab at the back to have more adjustment. Great for keeping the sun off my kids when they’re on top of the water, not so good for when they’re ducking under.

Have loaded up my new utility surf bag, with wax, screwdriver unit, board string etc, and still got s-are room.
Will prove to be very practical and long lasting.

Again pleasantly impressed with the Boardsox surf hat which I bought together with my new Boardsox boardcover. Great quality, love the soft back and stiff rim on the front of the hat, well thought out for the surfer. Have been using surf caps the past few seasons, but these surf hats are far more comfortable, and offer more protection over the tops of the ears. Definitely recommend this hat.
