Returns + Exchanges


At Boardsox, your satisfaction is our joy! If you're not entirely happy with your purchase, feel free to return it within 14  days, provided it is in its original condition and undamaged. 

For refunds, please note that we deduct $10.00 to cover shipping and processing fees. Sale items may be returned for store credit, which you can use online, or exchanged for another product. However, refunds are not available for sale items. The value of the store credit or exchange will match the price you paid for the returned item.


  1. You notify us within 14 days of receiving the item you want to return
  2. Item is to be returned in a new, unused* condition and in the original packaging
  3. If you’re keen for an item exchange or store credit, we’ll cover the cost of your return shipping.
  4. For refunds, we deduct $10.00 to help cover the costs associated with shipping & processing the return.
  5. Sale items can be returned for a Boardsox Credit/Gift Card to be used online only or exchanged for a new product, only - no refunds. The value of the Boardsox Credit /exchange will be valued at the purchase price you paid in your order for the item that you are returning.
  6. Outbound shipping fees from the original order are not refundable.

*If an item is received back to our warehouse and is deemed to be used, the Customer will be notified, and we will return the goods back at the cost of the customer.

We want you to be 100% happy. In saying that, please choose carefully as we are not able to give a refund if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.

We will offer to repair, replace, or refund at our discretion if the relevant good sold meets any of the following conditions:

  • Product does not match the product technical specifications online
  • Product contains defects or faults
  • Product is not fit for the purchase as described online

We are not obliged to issue a refund, credit, or exchange if:

  • The Customer changed their mind, decided they do not like the goods or they have no use for them
  • The Customer found the same or similar goods elsewhere for a cheaper price
  • The price of The Customer's purchased item is adjusted online or in-store and is now cheaper after the purchase date
  • Exchanges on items is not part of our returns policy


We understand sometimes you may not need an item or you might have made a mistake during your order. It is the customers duty to ensure you have purchased the correct size for your surfboard. If you have any doubt - please reach out to us using our customer chat support for assistance.

You must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item/s to request an exchange, credit or refund.

For all change of mind returns, please ensure the following criteria are met:

  1. You notify us within 7 days of receiving the item you want to return
  2. The item was not discounted or on sale 
  3. Item is to be returned in a new, unused* condition and in the original packaging * There is to be NO surf wax on the covers

Conditions of a change of mind return:

  • The customer is responsible for paying the postage to return the item back to our Australian Warehouse
  • Any original shipping charges will not be refunded
  • Any pre-paid duties and taxes will not be refunded


Sale items return policy

Sale items are eligible for exchanges or store credit only; refunds are not applicable. 

All requests must be made within 7 days from the date of delivery and be in the original condition with tags attached.
