MR Zogs Blue label tropical water surf wax. Sexwax Quick Humps surfboard wax formulas are the "go to" choice for professional and experienced surfers around the world, now packaged in recyclable paperboard boxes. This new package is easy to open and can be reused to keep your leftover or partially used wax clean in its original package. Find the ideal balance between stability and stickiness by utilizing these formulas alone or as part of a Basecoat/Topcoat combination. Base Coat Guide
- Using quick humps as a base coat & top coat increases the level of stickiness & stability.
- Using a harder wax for your base coat will take more effort but this base coat will be more effective by holding the bumps / shape for longer.
- Once a base coat is applied you only need to add a light top coat before each surf.
- Changing your base coat depends on the season or travel. Winter you would have a set base and top coat combo & Summer a different combo. Normal changing up or down the hardness.
- Travelling to Tropical destinations use the hardest wax 6x Blue
TEMP GUIDE
TROPICAL is extra hard surfboard wax for tropical warm waters. The ideal wax for surfing in the islands and tropical water locations. Designed for water temperatures 78 F/ 26 C & above. It can also be used as a base coat.
WARM is hard surfboard wax designed for warm water surfing. The ideal wax for surfing in warm water temperatures. Designed for water temperatures 70 F to 84 F / 21 C to 29 C.
MID COOL is firm surfboard wax for cool water surfing. The ideal wax for surfing in cool water temperatures. Designed for water temperatures 68 F to 78 F / 20 C to 26 C.
COOL is designed for cold water surfing. The ideal surfboard wax for cold water conditions and ultimate stickiness. Designed for water temperatures 58 F to 74 F / 14 C to 23 C.
COLD is intended to be extra soft for cold water locations. The ideal wax for extremely cold water conditions. Designed for water temperatures 48 F - 68 F / 9 C to 20 C.
